StateBikers.com was born from the idea behind OhioBikers.com. When we first moved to Ohio, we couldn't find one handy source for information on motorcycling in the state. OhioBikers was created as we gathered information, and tried to see what we could do with HTML. Having worked with SMTL in a previous lifetime helped immensely. The site grew from a couple of dozen hits a month, to an average of 4,000 or more now.

One of the things we tried to do was to locate other state sites so Ohio riders could gather information before a road trip. There weren't many. So, StateBikers came about. We don't intend to offer competition to the existing sites (some are EXCELLENT), but to offer the same type of information we provided for Ohio riders to riders in the rest of the country, and to visitors coming to tour from overseas.

Based on what people have been looking at over the years, we have eliminated some things and expanded others. Check the weather to see what your ride may encounter. Make use of the Calendar to advertise your rides. Let us know your club is out there. Chances are someone is looking to find you. Have a small business? We list basic entries for FREE! Most of the links you'll find are motorcycle related. Others are some we just think are good. We really hope you find this a useful site.

So, please make yourself at home. Look around, and if you see something missing, or something you really like (or dislike), let us know. We are about motorcycling and making USEFUL motorcycling information available to you!
